Sites on our hosting sit behind Cloudflare, which handles firewall rules and DDoS protection at the network level. If something does break, a clean backup is never more than a day old.
Dependency and security updates go out on a regular schedule, usually every week or two depending on what has been released. Anything critical is handled as soon as we are aware of it. You get a summary of what changed.
